GENNY knows when she’s needed. This 3-year-old Fox Terrier mix, our WGR #FurryFan, knows her Buffalo Bills are in a bad spot. But she’s no fair weather fan. She’s going to cheer for her team win or lose, and knows when it’s time to be just the good luck charm the Bills need to come home from Minnesota victorious this week! Learn more about our fetching fan at https://goo.gl/gVezcG, or call Gina at the SPCA: 716-875-7360! Better yet, get to the SPCA’s 300 Harlem Rd., West Seneca shelter and meet her in person!

LITTLE MISS HALSEY may just as well be called Little Miss Sunshine! This week’s WGR #FurryFan’s smile will carry hockey fans through the rest of the off-season, and she’s ready to sit side-by-side with you, smiling away, as her Buffalo Sabres enjoy a winning season! Visit this sweetheart at the SPCA’s 300 Harlem Rd., West Seneca shelter! Call SPCA Adoptions, 716-875-7360, ext. 207, or visit http://YourSPCA.org, for more information!

Bananas is a 7-year-old Bisons super fan! Her favorite time of day is the seventh inning stretch -- preferably in a sunbeam! And hey, if you buy her some peanuts and Cracker Jacks, she promises you’ll have her heart forever! Now through August 4, her adoption fee, along with every cat at the SPCA that is one year and older, is only $10! Come meet our girl at the SPCA, 300 Harlem Road in West Seneca or call 716.875.7360.

Who says iguanas can’t like football? This week’s WGR #FurryFan TOLLHOUSE is ready to disprove any rumor that iguanas can’t make wonderful companions and football buddies. Tollhouse won’t eat the last sandwich, he won’t finish the beer, and he won’t yell back at the TV. But he’s hoping he’ll be in a home way before football season starts. Visit Tollhouse at the SPCA Serving Erie County’s 300 Harlem Rd., West Seneca shelter! Go to http://YourSPCA.org or call SPCA Adoptions, 716-875-7360, ext. 207 for more information!

This week’s WGR #FurryFan WILL is totally OK with fireworks....as long as they’re fake! At three years old, goofy and loving Will is just as much a favorite as America’s favorite pastime, that ice cream you see Will eating, and celebrating Independence Day!! Meet Will at the SPCA’s 300 Harlem Rd, West Seneca shelter, or call Gina at least 716-875-7360 ext. 211 for more information! Also, remember to visit http://YourSPCA.org for tips on keeping animals pre-occupied during fireworks on the 4th, and how to keep them safe in hot weather!

This week, the SPCA has TWO WGR #FurryFan fans! McKinley is a 10-year-old female fan…Moose is a 7-year-old male major league-er. Together, they’ve spent a lot of years rooting for their teams, and this year, they know Buffalo’s got the spirit! Bring home McKinley or Moose (or both!) and you’ll be talking proud year ‘round, with them cheering at your side! Learn more at the SPCA Serving Erie County’s website, http://YourSPCA.org, or call SPCA Adoptions: 716-875-7360, ext. 207!

This 4-year-old little girl was paying close attention to last week’s draft…she’s a pretty firm believer that, with the right QB, she and other fans can wave their Buffalo Bills flags high and proud! BEANZ is this week’s WGR #FurryFan, and “cautiously optimistic” doesn’t just define her approach to the next football season. She’s shy at first, incredibly gentle…but with just a little encouragement and affection, she becomes a constant companion. Take her for long, leisurely walks all summer, and in the fall she’ll be at your side for every game!
