After getting sent down to the Rochester Americans on Sunday, Buffalo Sabres forward Justin Bailey has been called back up from the American Hockey League.

Bailey was sent down and served a one-game suspension for an illegal check to the head during a game on March 11 against the Syracuse Crunch. The Amerks ended up losing their matchup with the Hartford Wolf Pack, 6-4 and have now lost five of their last six games.

In 10 games played this season with the Sabres, Bailey has three goals and an assist. He is expected to play once again on Monday when the Sabres host the Nashville Predators at KeyBank Center.
