The Buffalo Bandits find themselves back in first place of the NLL East after a 14-10 win over the Philadelphia Wings on a snowy Saturday night at KeyBank Center.

The Bandits continued their trend of fast starts as they opened with a 7-1 lead halfway through the second quarter. That advantage slowly slipped away as Philadelphia battled back. They started the third quarter with three-straight goals to close the lead to 8-7. The teams traded goals into the fourth quarter as Kiel Matisz's fourth goal tied the score at 10-10 at the 5:54 mark.

Buffalo's offense took over once again at that point as Shawn Evans's backhand goal gave them back the lead for good just past the halfway point of the final quarter. The Bandits added three more goals in the final minutes to secure their third-straight victory.

Dhane Smith scored a pair of goals in the second half and added six assists to lead the Bandits in scoring. Corey Small scored three goals and tacked on three assists. Small and Jordan Durston were forced to step up their game on the left side of the field after Josh Byrne left the game with a lower-body injury in the first half. Durston scored twice, including a highlight reel behind the back goal in the second quarter.

Buffalo improves to 4-1 on the season and are tied with Toronto for first place in the NLL East. They play a pair of games on the road next weekend, starting in Rochester on Saturday, followed by a game against at the Black Wolves in New England on Sunday.
