Gore enters the 2019 season with the fourth-most rushing yards in NFL history

The Buffalo Bills officially announced on Wednesday the signing of 14-year veteran running back Frank Gore to a one-year contract.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Monday that the deal for Gore is worth $2 million.

Gore is recelty coming off a stint with the Miami Dolphins last season, playing in 14 games while rushing for 722 yards on 156 carries. Gore had no rushing touchdowns with Miami in 2018; his only touchdown of the year came off a reception.

The 35-year-old running back started his NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers in 2005 and went on to play 10 seasons in the Bay Area. After a successful career with the 49ers, Gore went on to have three more years of successful play with the Indianapolis Colts.

The veteran back will be 36-years-old come the start of the 2019 campaign, and currently ranks fourth on the NFL's all-time rushing yards list at 14,748 yards.
