FOX Sports has been running a bracket contest on Twitter for the past couple of weeks to determine who has the best fan base in the National Football League.

Bills fans had wiped through the first two rounds of the contest, taking down some significant fanbases in the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers.

Throughout the 24-hour Twitter poll between the Bills and Tennessee Titans, the Bills led comfortably throughout. Then in the final minutes of voting, screenshots around social media showed that tens of thousands of votes started to instantly swing in favor of the Titans. Something strange had clearly happened.

One Titans fan on Twitter bragged by showing a receipt for a $660 purchase of 20,000 Twitter poll votes. Several others showed similar purchases on social media. Titans podcasters, bloggers, and fans essentially bought their way into the final round of voting against the Cleveland Browns fanbase.

Many Bills fans, and even backup quarterback Matt Barkley voiced their displeasure, and one politician even called for a re-count. Led by new Bills offensive lineman LaAdrian Waddle's wife, Shelby, and 26 Shirts, Bills fans are now taking the high road.

Shelby Waddle joined Sal Capaccio on his podcast Wednesday morning with an update on donations. In 14 hours, the Nashville Children's Alliance had received over $8,000 in donations from Bills fans. The number has surely grown since, and hopefully will continue to do so. If you'd like to donate you can click Shelby's Tweet above, and go to the link. You can listen to Sal's full conversation with Shelby below.

The Nashville Children's Alliance is a non-profit organization that provides services to children who have experienced sexual or physical abuse. As Shelby describes with Sal, it hits close to home with her.

The Titans may win this FOX Sports Twitter poll, but Bills fans are proving, once again, who really has the best fanbase in the NFL.
