Here are three key storylines, plus notes and stats, as the Buffalo Bills face the New York Jets this Sunday in New Jersey:

1.) WHOSDAQ? Matt Barkley

The “WHOSDAQ” is something we’ve done at WGR over the past few training camps, basically asking “who is the quarterback?” It applies again this week as the Bills didn’t reveal who the starting quarterback would be until late Saturday afternoon. Matt Barkley, signed just over a week ago, will get the nod under center over Nathan Peterman after the team also declared Josh Allen would be out while he continues to nurse his sprained elbow. Allen will miss his fourth straight game, while Derek Anderson was also ruled out and hasn’t cleared concussion protocol yet.

2.) No Sam

After Allen took over starting duties for the Bills back in Week 2, it looked like we were on a collision course to see him face Sam Darnold, the No. 7 and No. 3 overall picks in last year’s draft, respectively. Then Allen got hurt. But Darnold, who had started every game for the Jets so far this season, has a sprained foot and also won’t start. It remains to be seen if he will suit up and be the back-up to Josh McCown or not, but the first of what might be many battles between the two rookies will have to wait at least until next month when the two teams meet again in Orchard Park.

3.) The OL shuffle

What many Bills fans have wanted to see started happening last week. Wyatt Teller was not only active, but saw action at guard. He played both right and left guard against the Bears, and although it was only a total 17 out of 91 snaps, judging by practice this week, it looks like he might have earned himself even more time. During the media-viewing portion of practice, Teller was lined up as the starting left guard in place of Vlad Ducasse. Tackle Jeremiah Sirles actually played more than Teller did last week (27 snaps) in different spots on the line, including guard and tackle, as well as the extra lineman in heavy sets. We could see a little bit of a different looking group upfront Sunday.
