Bills look to stay perfect at home against the Saints

The Bills and Saints are the only matchup between teams above .500 in the NFL

November 12, 2017 - 11:47 am

The Buffalo Bills are a perfect 4-0 at New Era Field this season with wins over the New York Jets, Denver Broncos, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Oakland Raiders. Sunday, they'll have what is probably their toughest test of the season against the New Orleans Saints, The Saints are the hottest team in the NFL, riding a six-game win streak. Drew Brees, per usual, finds himself in the top-10 in essentially every statistical category.

Besides Brees, a big story for the Saints has been the emergence of Alvin Kamara. Kamara, a third round rookie running back out of Tennessee, has provided New Orleans with a dynamic weapon out of the backfield in both the run and pass game. He'll be a key player to keep in check for the Bills defense.

Inactives for both teams are out. The Bills get some added help in the pass game.

With Glenn and Gaines out, Dion Dawkins and Shareece Wright will start. Clay's return to the lineup, coupled with the debut of Kelvin Benjamin, gives Tyrod Taylor maybe the best group of weapons he's had all season.

For the Saints, starting safety Kenny Vaccaro is out. Vaccaro is a big piece of their secondary. Starting offensive linemen Terron Armstead and Larry Warford were listed as questionable, both are active.

Bills pre-game coverage on WGR goes all the way up to kickoff at 1 p.m. with John Murphy, Mark Kelso, and Sal Capaccio on the call of the game from New Era Field!
