The Buffalo Bills have made it official, naming Nathan Peterman as the starting quarterback for Week 1 of the regular season against the Baltimore Ravens.

The team will practice Monday afternoon at New Era Field, where head coach Sean McDermott is scheduled to address the media shortly beforehand at 11:30 a.m.

The second-year Peterman beat out rookie Josh Allen and A.J. McCarron via a three-way competition through training camp and preseason. McCarron was traded to the Oakland Raiders over the weekend.
