The Buffalo Bills have made a move at wide receiver, promoting Cam Phillips from their practice squad to their 53-man roster on Thursday. To make room for Phillips, the Bills have released wide receiver Robert Foster and signed him to the practice squad.

Phillips was brought in this offseason as an undrafted rookie free agent from Virginia Tech. Phillips was stashed onto the Bills practice squad after losing out to Foster for a spot on the 53-man roster.

Foster, also an undrafted rookie free agent out of Alabama, was active for the first six games for Buffalo this season. Seen as Buffalo's best deep threat, Foster did not have much impact on the stat sheet, with only two receptions for 30 yards on the season.
