The Buffalo Bills made a pair of roster moves on Saturday, releasing wide receiver Jeremy Kerley and signing defensive tackle Robert Thomas off the practice squad.

The Bills only had three defensive tackles heading into their second game on Sunday with Star Lotulelei, Kyle Williams and Harrison Phillips after they released Adolphus Washington on Monday. With Thomas being added to the 53-man roster, the Bills now have an open spot on their practice squad.

Kerley was often seen as third on the Bills' depth chart at wide receiver, earning the job after the preseason. Kerley suited up for Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens, catching two passes for seven yards. The Bills depth chart at wide receiver now is Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones, Andre Holmes, Robert Foster and Ray-Ray McCloud III.
