After going undrafted through all seven rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft, University at Buffalo quarterback Tyree Jackson is signing with the Buffalo Bills.

NFL Insider Adam Schefter was first to report the signing and details.

After the draft, Bills general manager Brandon Beane confirmed that the team and Jackson have an agreement in place, but said things were yet to be finalized.

Jackson is expected compete for a backup spot with Derek Anderson and Matt Barkley, behind starter Josh Allen.

The quarterback wasn't the only former Bull to agree to a deal with the Bills. He'll be joined by cornerback Cam Lewis.

Meanwhile, UB wide receiver Anthony Johnson, who also went surprisingly undrafted, has agreed to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
