After not selecting a linebacker with any of their seven selections in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills added one as a free agent on Monday.

The team announced it has signed linebacker Mike Bell, who was with the team during rookie minicamp last year on a tryout basis.

At the time, Bell was listed on the rookie minicamp roster as a 210-pound safety. However, according to the team's official website, Bell is now 220 pounds and will be converted to linebacker.

The Fresno State product was named a Second-Team All-Mountain West player in 2018, compiling 86 tackles and three interceptions. For his college career, Bell recorded 199 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and four interceptions.
