With the first of their two picks in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the 225th overall selection, the Buffalo Bills added some depth to the defensive line by drafting defensive end Darryl Johnson, Jr. out of North Carolina A&T.

Johnson was a solid pass rusher for the Aggies, playing three seasons and accumulating 19 career sacks and being named to the FCS All-American Team and the MEAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2018. In his junior year with the Aggies in 2018, Johnson racked up 10.5 sacks and 50 total tackles in 12 games.

The 6' 6" and 254-pound pass rusher is the first Aggies player to be drafted by the Buffalo Bills since the AFL/NFL merger.
