With the 188th overall pick from the Cleveland Browns in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select kicker Tyler Bass out of Georgia Southern University.

Bass was one of the top available kickers available in the 2020 draft, finishing his college career in Statesboro, Georgia going 54-of-68 on his field goal attempts. He also finished his four years in school by converting 98.3% of his extra point attempts, and was a perfect 81-of-81 in his junior and senior seasons.

According to ESPN Stats and Info, Bass was stellar from distance with 27 made field goals from 40-plus yards over the last three seasons, which was the most in the FBS.

Bass becomes the seventh kicker drafted by the Bills since 1970, and is the first kicker drafted by Buffalo since Dustin Hopkins in 2013.

The Bills now have some added competition for both the punters and kickers when training camp begins. The team already has kicker Stephen Hauschka on the roster, as well as punter Corey Bojorquez and punter/kicker Kaare Vedvik.
