The Buffalo Bills head into this week's road matchup with the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium hoping to get to 3-4 on the season before returning home for a Monday Night Football matchup with the New England Patriots.

The Bills will have a different look at quarterback as 13-year veteran quarterback Derek Anderson will start under center over second-year backup Nathan Peterman. That's because rookie quarterback Josh Allen suffered a sprained elbow during the third quarter of Sunday's road loss to the Houston Texans. Allen will miss this Sunday's matchup, and could miss some more time in the coming weeks.

Buffalo will look to generate some more action on offense this week under Anderson's leadership, while the Bills' defense will look to shut down Andrew Luck and the Colts offense as they did last week against Deshaun Watson and the Texans.

As for the Colts, they will look for their second win of the 2018 season on Sunday under new head coach Frank Reich. Injuries have ravaged the Colts' lineup throughout the year, but they could get wide receiver T.Y. Hilton back on the field after missing the last two weeks with a hamstring injury.

For an in-depth look at the Colts, Kevin Bowen from 1070 AM The Fan in Indianapolis joined Mike Schopp and the Bulldog on Wednesday.

Here is some of what Bowen had to say:

Bowen on the Colts' offense:

"Their pass-to-run balance has been about 70-30, 75-25 pass over run. There's been no issues with Andrew Luck and his arm strength, either."

Bowen on the Colts' rushing attack:

"They stayed with the run the most in Marlon Mack's first game back, even when they were down two and three scores. Frank Reich is a big Mack fan. The Colts were using two rookies early in the season."

Bowen on what to anticipate:

"Expect a heavy dose of Mack early on, going up against one of the better defense in the National Football League in Buffalo."

Bowen on Frank Reich:

"The fans like him. A big reason is because they really hate Josh McDaniels. What fans have appreciated from Reich the most is his aggressive nature and his innovative, creative mind offensively."

Bowen on T.Y. Hilton:

"He knows he needs to be back out there. When you practice full on a Wednesday like he did, usually that means you'll be ready to go."

Bowen on the Colts surrounding Luck with talent:

"I think they have to. The biggest gripe of the fans here is that [Indianapolis] didn't do enough in free agency. It's not a scary roster outside of the first three or four names. They started the cheapest defense in Week 6, and Sam Darnold carved them up."

Kick-off this Sunday is set for 1 p.m. with John Murphy, Mark Kelso and Sal Capaccio on the call.
