Bulls beat South Florida for first ever NCAA Tournament win

U.B. dominated from start to finish and will face Florida State on Monday

For the first time in program history, the University at Buffalo's women's basketball team will be moving on to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament.

The Bulls defeated sixth-seeded South Florida Bulls 102-79, dominating on their way to a second round matchup with the Florida State Seminoles on Monday.

Cierra Dillard led the charge for the Bulls, leading the way with 36 points and six rebounds. Dillard also went 7-of-13 from three-point range to help Buffalo pummel South Florida.

The 11th-seeded Bulls and third-seeded Seminoles will tip things off Monday evening in Tallahassee, Florida at 6:30 p.m. Be sure to check out all of the action on our sister station, ESPN 1520.
