Chase Elliott dominated the Go Bowling at The Glen on Sunday afternoon at Watkins Glen International for his second-straight win at the Finger Lakes road course facility.

Listen to your team news NOW.

Elliott swept all three stages and led 80 of the 90 laps to repeat at the site of his first Monster Energy Cup Series win.

Elliott was forced to hold off Martin Truex, Jr. throughout the closing laps of event. Truex chased Elliott around the 11-turn facility, but could not get within a few car lengths of the leader. He repeatedly stated on the team's radio communications that the aerodynamic package on the cars created a bubble of air around Elliott's, which made it difficult to pass.

Denny Hamlin finished third and Erik Jones placed fourth to give Joe Gibbs Racing three cars in the top-five positions.

Ryan Blaney finished fifth. He was involved in an on-track incident with Jimmie Johnson early in the race, which the pair discussed on pit road following the event.

Matt DiBenedetto backed up his fourth place run at Sonoma earlier this year with a sixth place. It was his third top-10 finish in the past four races. Kevin Harvick, Kyle Larson, Brad Keselowski and Kurt Busch completed the top-10.

Elliott's win was, once again, very popular with the sellout out crowd at Watkins Glen after they witnessed his first Cup win a year ago.

"I've never been so far from home, and have it feel like my home track," said Elliott. It was the fifth grandstand sellout in a row for Watkins Glen International.

Kyle Busch had an eventful day. He spun out in Turn 1 during the opening stage after contact with William Byron, and then suffered a pit road speeding penalty later in the stage. On lap 63, Busch and Bubba Wallace made repeated contact, which ended with Wallace spinning out Busch on purpose down the front straightaway. He finished in 11th.
