LeSean McCoy was there, left, but came back to practice on Thursday.

The Bills running back had a stomach bug, according to the team. He missed some reps with the offense and is therefore officially listed as a “limited” participant. Head coach Sean McDermott wasn’t worried at all about the situation, even joking with reporters after practice by saying “I don’t know, maybe he didn’t like the play call.”

“I saw him dancing around (after practice) and it looked like he was good. He had a good practice,” McDermott said, adding there’s no question about Shady’s availability for Sunday’s opener against the Jets.

In the short time McCoy was out, Mike Tolbert, Taiwan Jones, and Joe Banyard all rotated reps.

Defensive tackle Marcell Dareus, who was limited with a hip issue Wednesday, was a full participant in Thursday’s session.
