Novak Djokovic is back on top of the tennis world once again.

The 12th-ranked Djokovic won his 13th Grand Slam title and fourth Wimbledon championship on Sunday when he defeated eighth-ranked Kevin Anderson in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, 7-6. The 31-year-old Serbian captured his first Wimbledon title since 2015, and his first major tennis title since winning the French Open in 2016.

Anderson put up quite the run at the All England Tennis Club in London, getting to the final after stunning top-ranked Roger Federer in the quarterfinals and beating ninth-ranked John Isner in a six-and-a-half hour semifinal marathon. However, the 31-year-old's run at a first-career major came up just short.

The South Africa native will next look to capture his first major tennis title at the 2018 U.S. Open at Flushing Meadows in Queens, New York. The tournament will start August 27 and run through September 9.
