The Bulls will play South Florida on Saturday

March 12, 2018 - 7:36 pm

The University at Buffalo women's basketball team is going to the NCAA tournament after being given an at-large bid.

The Bulls went 27-5 throughout the entire 2017-18 season, but fell short of the MAC Championship, losing to Central Michigan in the final round of the tournament 96-91. However, the Bulls' success throughout the season warranted an at-large bid into the tournament, according to the committee. It is the first time in the program's history that U.B. earned an at-large bid.

The Bulls will face South Florida in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saurday at 1:30 p.m. in Tallahassee, Florida. You can listen to all of the action on our sister station, ESPN 1520.
