Jeff Skinner and the Buffalo Sabres continued their remarkable run on Friday, rallying to beat the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 in overtime at KeyBank Center. Skinner provided the game-tying and game-winning goals, the latter of which came with the man advantage, giving him a league-leading 17 goals. Casey Mittelstadt opened the scoring with his fourth goal of the season.

Go inside the locker room to see what Skinner, Mittelstadt and Zach Bogosian had to say after Buffalo's victory:

Jeff Skinner:

On the winning streak: "I don't think I've ever won eight straight, so that's a good thing. I think you try and produce offensively to help the team win. For me, as long as it's contributing to wins, I think it's a good feeling and we want to try and keep it going."

On the team's ability to come back: "Guys don't give up and you sort of have that belief that you can come back. You don't want to come back from behind in every game, but when you have a chance to come back and you stick with it, it's always a good sign."

Casey Mittelstadt:

On the importance of these two points: "It's huge, it's a huge comeback for us, especially because we didn't have our best game tonight, but I guess good teams find a way to win. That was a big win for us against a good team."

On his goal: "We didn't have the best start, but anytime you get the first goal it's big. It was lucky, [the puck] was laying for me and it was a good job by everyone on the ice. I just was the benefactor, getting to tap it in."

Zach Bogosian:

On the play of Jeff Skinner: "I can't remember the last time I saw someone with that hot of a stick right now. It's good to see. Obviously he's a huge part of our team. I think overall, as a team, we've played a lot better. He's a huge part of that."

On Friday's game being different than the last time these teams met: "When we played there, it was a bit more of a run-and-gun game, a lot of turnovers; I think both teams tonight battled hard. It was a good defensive game, I thought both goalies played well and those games are fun to win."
