The Buffalo Sabres eased past the Washington Capitals by a score of 5-2 on Saturday. Sam Reinhart led the way with a hat-trick for Buffalo, adding the final goal via the empty net with less than one minute to go.

The win snaps a four-game losing streak, and starts a point streak for Buffalo after the Sabres got a point from their shootout defeat to the Lightning on Thursday.

Let's go inside the locker room and see what Reinhart, Carter Hutton, Jack Eichel, Jeff Skinner and Phil Housley had to say following the win:

Sam Reinhart:

On rallying behind the Tampa game:  "You don't really want to rally behind a loss, but with the position we are in it was important to follow it up against one of the best teams in the league."

On getting the hat trick at home: "It's always nice scoring goals but any time you can do it at home it's that much more special."

Carter Hutton:

On Sam Reinhart's third period goal: "It's a really timely goal. We could have went back and sat in our shell... I think that's the difference in the hockey game, the fourth one."

On winning a game at home: "It was a great hockey game... getting back into the win column here at home is great."

Jack Eichel:

On the team's momentum moving forward: "I think there is something to be happy about for us, now we just have to build off of it."

On Reinhart's third period goal: "Obviously that goal was huge. Big for us. It got us a little bit of a cushion.

Jeff Skinner:

On how he was able to return to the game: "I tested it out and it settled down a little bit."

About the fan support when he came back into the game: "It was pretty cool... it was nice to see the support."

Phil Housley:

On Skinner going out with injury: "We just went back to work, we didn't let it effect us."

On Carter Hutton's last two games: "His last two games have just been really, really exceptional."
