Despite entering the third period with a 1-0 lead, the Buffalo Sabres were sunk, 4-2, thanks to four unanswered goals from the Florida Panthers on Tuesday in Sunrise, Florida. It was the third straight decision that Buffalo has dropped, being out-scored 14-5 over the span of those three losses.

Let's head inside the locker room to see what Jack Eichel, Vladimir Sobotka, Jake McCabe and Phil Housley had to say after the loss:

Jack Eichel:

On the third period collapse: "Just a couple lapses; mistakes. They ended up in their net. We're a fragile group right now. Things seem to be going the opposite of how they were. It's an uphill climb for us."

On his goal called back for offsides: "I think at the time, you're trying to make a play at the blue-line. It's bang-bang. What's the rule? Full possession. Feel like I had half-possession. It's a turning point for sure."

Vladimir Sobotka:

On the implosion: "We made some mistakes. They have good players and they scored off them. Just need to be better defensively."

Fragility on the ice: "It feels like we give up one goal and things go downhill. It's a tough loss."

Jake McCabe:

Only yourself to blame: "When you're in this kind of rut, you have to work that much harder to get out of it."

Not as soft as it seems: "I don't think we feel fragile. Nobody around the league feels sorry for us. We're the only ones who can get out of this. A good game against Tampa Bay could be something to jump-start us again."

Phil Housley:

Keys to a rebound: "We have to focus more on our own game in critical times. Make the right play, do the right thing. I think guys are still really good on the bench. They kept fighting all the way through."

Faith in the room: "I think they believe in each other, and I believe in this group. We have to keep fighting. There's a lot of belief in this room, in the coaching staff and the players."
