It was another tough loss for the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night as they give up four first period goals en route to a 5-1 loss to the Dallas Stars. Hear from the Sabres' locker room with Robin Lehner, Jack Eichel, and head coach Phil Housley following the loss in Dallas.

Robin Lehner

On the tough start for the team: "I think we came out well, I think there's a missed play behind the net there and they got a goal fast. I think we shouldn't have panicked, we didn't panic and then they got a tough bounce, [the puck] was going right on my stick and jumped up on me and they scored on the rebound, and we were behind two nothing. Then they scored a thid off that play, [I] honestly think the guys played well today."

On the short night in net before being pulled: "It's a game of mistakes, I made a mistake there and together with a bounce and a good goal, you know, we were down three nothing and it's unfortunate."

On the frustrating start: "I thought we had a pretty good start, we were playing in their end, and getting some opportunites, outshooting them [in the] first period and then they just got a couple bounces and all of a sudden you find yourself down pretty big and it's tough to come back from that. It's a good hockey team, so, we needed a big effort tonight and obviously it wasn't there, so it's frustrating."

On the power play not scoring again: "I think we had some good chances on the power play, moved it well, I mean obviously I think on that first one it's a bit frustrtating we weren't able to get it setup, but you know  after that, you know, we had some chances, you know, probably want a few back, I think. I had a breakaway and I dumped the puck in the corner so, it's kind of tough."

On the game overall from the team: "I thought we had the start we wanted, we came out, we were forcing the play, we were forcing the issue, just a couple bad bounces. If you look at it, our first period, some of the goals were tough ones to watch and look at because I thought our guys played really well and it's unforunate but, you look after the first period it was a 1-1 hockey game so, you know, I thought we had the start we needed."
