The Buffalo Sabres were able to withstand a late comeback by the Minnesota Wild to get the 5-4 shootout win on Tuesday night at KeyBank Center.

It was a volatile game that saw Buffalo get out to a 3-1 lead before the Wild evened the score. Following a third period Sam Reinhart goal that gave Buffalo a 4-3 lead, the Wild converted to tie the game at 4-4 and force overtime. After the eventful overtime, Reinhart capped off the win with the only goal in the shootout.
