The UB Bulls men's basketball team earned a statement overtime win on Friday night over 13th-ranked West Virginia, 99-94 in Morgantown, West Virginia.

The Bulls improved to 2-0 on the season after earning an 82-67 win over Saint Francis on Tuesday night at Alumni Arena.

UB got a career-high 43 points from guard C.J. Massinburg, and stormed back with a 15-4 run to force overtime against the Mountaineers. It was Massinburg's eighth three-point shot with 14.2-seconds left that tied the game at 84 and forced overtime. Massinburg also added 14 rebounds in the Bulls win.

Guard Jeremy Harris added 16 points and nine rebounds in the win, while guard Jayvon Graves scored 14 points and forward Nick Perkins had 10 points and nine rebounds.

The Bulls might be looking at a spot in the AP Top-25 rankings in college basketball for the first time in program history after that victory. The Bulls were already receiving votes in the preseason poll before the season got started.

The Bulls play against Southern Illinois on Monday, looking to add on to their early season win total.
