Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott gave an update on some key injured players when he met with the media on Monday.

Running back LeSean McCoy is still in concussion protocol. McCoy hit his head hard on the Lucas Oil Stadium turf Sunday on the second play from scrimmage and didn’t return.

Defensive end Trent Murphy left the game late with knee injury. McDermott said he’s week-to-week, but wouldn’t rule out Murphy playing Monday night against the New England Patriots, saying “we’ll see” when asked.

McDermott also confirmed Derek Anderson will once again start at quarterback Monday night. Anderson started his first game in two years Sunday, going 20-for-31 for 175 yards. The 13-year veteran also threw three interceptions in his Bills debut.
