The MLB Trade Deadline is on Tuesday, July 31st, but teams aren’t waiting to add more depth to make a World Series run.

The Los Angeles Dodgers kicked things off after they acquired Manny Machado from the Baltimore Orioles shortly after the All-Star break.

Here are some other notable trades since the Dodgers blockbuster acquisition.
 

  • Cleveland Indians acquired closer Brad Hand and reliever Adam Cimber from the San Diego Padres for prospect catcher Francisco Mejia.
  • Oakland Athletics acquires reliever Jeurys Familia from the New York Mets for third baseman William Toffey, RHP Bobby Wahl and international bonus pool money.
  • New York Mets trade infielder Asdrubal Cabrera to the Philadelphia Phillies for RHP Franklyn Kilome.
  • New York Yankees acquired reliever Zach Britton from the Baltimore Orioles for RHP Brandon Tate, RHP Cody Carroll and LHP Josh Rogers.
  • New York Yankees acquired pitcher J.A. Happ from the Toronto Blue Jays for infielder Brandon Drury and outfielder Billy McKinney.
  • Toronto Blue Jays trade pitcher Seung-Hwan Oh to the Colorado Rockies for first baseman Chad Spanberger, outfielder Forrest Wall and cash considerations.
  • Boston Red Sox trade LHP Jalen Beeks to the Tampa Bay Rays for pitcher Nathan Eovaldi.
  • Houston Astros acquired Martin Maldonado from the Los Angeles Angels for LHP Patrick Sandoval and international bonus pool money.
  • Milwaukee Brewers acquired closer Joakim Soria from the Chicago White Sox for two pitching prospects. 
  • Milwaukee Brewers acquired third baseman Mike Moustakas from the Kansas City Royals for outfielder Brett Phillips and RHP Jorge Lopez.
  • Arizona Diamondbacks acquired infielder Eduardo Escobar from the Minnesota Twins for three prospects.
  • Chicago Cubs acquired LHP Cole Hamels and cash considerations from the Texas Rangers for two prospects and a player to be named later.
