The lead-up to the NFL Draft consists of tons and tons of rumors from reporters. Many of which are smokescreens from teams.

Keep up to date on what's being said below.

  • 6:40 p.m. - Peter Schrager (FOX Sports) - Buffalo Bills

Peter Schrager puts out the first report out slowing down the Bills-Jets trade rumors, saying nothing is imminent between the two teams.

  • 6:27 p.m. - Ralph Vacchiano (SNY) - Buffalo Bills

Vacchiano reports a follow up that the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills are looking into swapping the third and ninth overall picks, respectively, and adds that the deal will likely happen if Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams is there when New York is on the clock.

  • 5:54 p.m. - Connor Hughes (The Athletic) - Buffalo Bills

Hughes confirms a report from Rich Cimini that Buffalo has had talks with the New York Jets regarding a trade up to the third overall pick. A trade is reportedly predicated on if Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams remains available at pick No. 3.

  • 4:53 p.m. - Rich Cimini (ESPN) - Buffalo Bills

Jets may already have a deal worked out to trade back from the No. 3 overall selection. Cimini says the Bills are a team to "keep an eye on" in anticipation of the Jets decision.

  • 3:43 p.m. - Benjamin Allbright (KFBC 1240) - Buffalo Bills

The Bills "really, really want to upgrade their interior defensive line" as well as finish working on their offensive line. The Bills would also like to add to their receiving group early on in the draft.

  • 3:37 p.m. - Jason La Canfora (CBS Sports) - Buffalo Bills

Two general managers informed La Canfora that the Bills could be interested in moving up to the third pick in the draft to select Quinnen Williams if he is not chosen first or second.

  • 6:01 p.m. - Connor Hughes (The Athletic) - New York Jets

In addition to the Bills, Hughes reports that the Jets have several teams that are interested in the third overall pick, including interest from the Oakland Raiders regarding a swap of the third and fourth overall picks.

  • 5:47 p.m. - Michael Silver (NFL Network) - Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals have had discussions with Kyler Murray, Nick Bosa and Quinnen Williams' representatives today regarding the No. 1 selection in Thursday's draft. The Cardinals are "keeping their plans close to the vest."

  • 5:17 p.m. - Jason La Canfora (CBS Sports) - Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers do not believe a trade up to draft linebacker Devin Bush is viable.

The Steelers will be able to look at a cornerback if they stay at pick 20. Joe Haden, the Steelers' No. 1 cornerback, is 29-years-old. The Steelers might look to get younger in the defensive backfield with the 20th pick.

  • 4:17 p.m. - Jason La Canfora (CBS Sports) - Cleveland Browns

If Mississippi State defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons slips far enough, the Cleveland Browns may look to trade into the first round to draft him.

The Browns traded their 2019 first rounder to acquire Odell Beckham Jr. from the New York Giants in March.

  • 3:32 p.m. - Ian Rapoport (NFL Network) - New York Giants

The Giants may look to acquire a third first round pick if they don't get a quarterback at picks six or 17.

The Giants may have a suitor somewhere within the range of picks 21-26, as Rapoport also reports that every team in that range has expressed interest in trading down from their spot.

  • 3:16 p.m. - Dan Graziano (ESPN) - Nick Bosa (DE, Ohio State)

The Raiders are reportedly considering trading up for Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa.

The Raiders have three first round selections as they own the fourth, 24th and 27th picks. It is highly likely that in the event of a trade, the Raiders will have to include a couple of those choices to move up.

  • 2:42 p.m. - Adam Schefter (ESPN) - Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers are reportedly one of a few teams making calls to potentially trade into the top-10 of tonight's draft.

With plenty of weapons on offense, and with a freshly re-signed quarterback to boot, it is likely the Steelers will try to bolster their defense with a draft day trade into the top-10.

  • 2:15 p.m. - Adam Schefter (ESPN) - Drew Lock (QB, Missouri)

Missouri quarterback Drew Lock will be drafted on Thursday evening, he is on the Giants' radar.

The Giants have appeared to be leaning towards selecting a quarterback throughout the draft process. The team will have a few different options at the position when they make their selection sixth overall.

  • 2:14 p.m. - Ian Rapoport (NFL Network) - Arizona Cardinals

Cardinals general manager Steve Keim has reached out to Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams informing him that he is still in the mix to be the team's No. 1 selection Thursday night.

One would have to assume that both Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray and Ohio State edge rusher Nick Bosa are among the other players Arizona has informed of their potential to be the top pick.

  • 1:55 p.m. - Dianna Russini (ESPN) - Washington Redskins

The Redskins remain divided on which quarterback to target in the first round of the draft. Owner Dan Snyder and general manager Bruce Allen are leaning towards Dwayne Haskins, while others want Daniel Jones.

The Redskins currently hold the 15th selection in the draft. Washington may be one of the teams that looks to move up to draft a quarterback.

  • 1:48 p.m. - Josina Anderson (ESPN) - Josh Rosen (QB, Cardinals)

Cardinals general manager Steve Keim will have "active ears" regarding a trade involving Josh Rosen, but the trade does not have to happen tonight.

  • 1:45 p.m. - Chris Mortensen (ESPN) - Jadeveon Clowney (DE, Houston Texans)

The Texans are open to trading Clowney, who has not signed his franchise tag.

The Chiefs traded a first and second this week to acquire pass rusher Frank Clark, so Clowney could go for more.

  • 1:08 p.m. - Ian Rapoport (NFL Network) - Montez Sweat (DE, Miss. State)

Montez Sweat's heart issue was misdiagnosed at the Combine, and that additional testing revealed no problem.

Some teams had taken Sweat off their boards for fear of an enlarged heart.

  • 12:47 p.m.- Adam Schefter (ESPN) - Josh Rosen (QB, Cardinals)

Dolphins and Giants are the only teams who have talked to the Cardinals about trading for Josh Rosen in recent weeks.

Both the Giants and Dolphins have been linked to quarterbacks at the fifth and 13th spots respectively. The acquisition of Rosen by either team could significantly change either team's philosophy when it comes time to making their selection.

  • 12:02 p.m. - Pro Football Talk - Solomon Thomas (DE, 49ers)

The San Francisco 49ers - holders of the second overall pick - are reportedly interested in trading 2017 third overall selection Solomon Thomas. Thomas is one of three defensive linemen the 49ers have invested first round picks in over the last four years.

Trading Thomas would free up room on the defensive line for potential No. 2 pick Nick Bosa.

  • 10:32 a.m. - Michael Silver (NFL Network) - Nick Bosa (DL, Ohio State)

"People could be surprised" by Cardinals' No.1 pick.

The Cardinals have been linked to quarterback Kyler Murray since the NFL Combine, but quarterback is not the only position of significant need for the Cardinals. Arizona's defense ranked 20th in the NFL in 2018 and Ohio State's Nick Bosa could be an important piece that improves the Cardinals front-seven in 2019 and beyond.

  • 9:03 a.m. - Pro Football Talk - Washington Redskins

The Redskins reportedly have "no real desire" to trade into the top-15 of the draft.

With the amount of defensive talent expected to go in the top-10, it is certainly possible a trade up from the Redskins will not be necessary for the team to get their quarterback.

  • 8:57 a.m. - Ian Rapoport (NFL Network) - Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons are reportedly interested in trading into the top-10.

With a well-stocked offense, it is likely the Falcons would move up to select a player on defense. Michigan linebacker Devin Bush would be a good fit and give the Falcons defense an effective linebacker duo with Deion Jones being on the roster as well.

  • 8:41 a.m. - Ian Rapoport (NFL Network) - Dwayne Haskins (QB, Ohio State)

The Raiders "moved quarterback Dwayne Haskins up their board late this week."

Rapoport reported earlier this week that the Raiders could go for a surprise with the fourth overall pick. The offseason has been full of of conversation regarding the relationship between John Gruden and current Raiders quarterback Derek Carr. That story could see the beginning of a new chapter if Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock opt to take Haskins.

  • 9:56 p.m. (4/24) - Peter Schrager (Fox Sports) - Cincinnati Bengals

Feeling around the league is that the Bengals won't select a quarterback in the first round. The Bengals pick 11th.

  • 7:03 p.m. (4/24) - Armando Salguero (Miami Herald) - Jeffery Simmons (DT, Miss. State)

The Dolphins have had "serious talks" about trading back to draft Mississippi State defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons. Simmons is currently recovering from a torn ACL and meniscus and is expected to miss the entirety of his rookie season.

Simmons is expected to fall out of the first round by some due to his injury history, as well as an incident in 2016 in which he struck a woman.
