We’re four practices into the Buffalo Bills’ 2018 training camp and while so much of the talk has focused around the quarterback position and who is taking snaps with the first, second, and third team offense between A.J. McCarron, Nathan Peterman, and Josh Allen, there are plenty of other position battles going on as well.

I charted the rotation of all 11 defensive players and the offensive line Saturday and Sunday and here’s how it most-regularly looked:

First-team defense:

  • DE - Jerry Hughes, Trent Murphy
  • DT - Kyle Williams, Star Lotulelei
  • WLB - Matt Milano
  • MLB - Tremaine Edmunds
  • SLB - Lorenzo Alexander
  • CB - Tre’Davious White, Vontae Davis
  • S - Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer
  • (Slot CB) - Phillip Gaines (with Taron Johnson getting some reps)

Second-team defense:

  • DE - Shaq Lawson, Eddie Yarbrough,
  • DT - Harrison Phillips, Adolphus Washington
  • WLB - Ramon Humber
  • MLB - Tanner Vallejo
  • SLB - Deon Lacey
  • CB - Phillip Gaines, Lafayette Pitts
  • S - Rafael Bush, Deane Marlowe
  • (Slot CB) - Taron Johnson

First-team Offensive Line:

  • LT - Dion Dawkins
  • LG - Vlad Ducasse
  • C - Russell Bodine and Ryan Groy rotate
  • RG - John Miller
  • RT - Jordan Mills

Second-team Offensive Line:

  • LT - De’Ondre Wesley
  • LG - Marshall Newhouse
  • C - Ryan Groy and Russell Bodine rotate
  • RG - Wyatt Teller
  • RT - Conor McDermott

Third-team Offensive Line:

  • LT - Mo Porter
  • LG - Josh James
  • C - Adam Redmond
  • RG - Ike Boettger
  • RT - Gerhard de Beer

The wide receiver group has rotated so much with players playing with all three hits that it’s hard to put together a fair chart. For the most part, though, Kelvin Benjamin and Jeremy Kerley are constants, with plenty of others getting opportunities.

As far as tight end, Charles Clay is the clear starter, and with Nick O’Leary currently dealing with a foot injury, Logan Thomas is getting plenty of reps with both the first and second team. Of the remaining players, Jason Croom seems to get the most reps, especially when it comes to any passing situation.

LeSean McCoy and Chris Ivory are the No. 1 and 2 running backs, but after that it’s a lot of mixing and matching. Travaris Cadet, Taiwan Jones, and Marcus Murphy are all getting plenty of opportunities.

The team is next on the field Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. It will be closed to the public.
