Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) - There have been more shakeups at Pegula Sports and Entertainment as three top executives have been let go.

Departing are COO Bruce Popko, EVP and Sabres CAO Brent Rossi, and EVP Erica Muhleman.

These three firings came after the recent resignations of top executives Russ Brandon, Mike Gilbert and Nik Fattey. In all three cases, the resignations were asked for by PSE President Kim Pegula after internal investigations.

Rossi’s departure comes only one month after he received a promotion to his current job. That promotion came after Gilbert’s resignation. Rossi worked for the Sabres since 2012.

Popko came to the Bills in 2009 and he’s been the point man you’ve seen in press conferences about studies for a new stadium. He’s been CEO for two years.

Muhleman also joined the Bills in 2009 and was elevated to EVP after Popko was promoted.

In a statement Kim Pegula said, “I want to thank Bruce, Brent and Erica for their work and commitment to PSE and wish them the best in their future endeavors.

“Since I assumed the role of President last year, I have been continuously evaluating our organizations. I remain confident in our leaders and in the long-term success of PSE. At the appropriate time I will be looking to fill the positions on a case by case basis as deemed necessary.”
