Even with some players nearing a return from injury, the Buffalo Sabres have called up another body from the Rochester Americans.

The Sabres have called up defenseman Zach Redmond on Tuesday for the second time this season. The 29-year old was first called up October 21st and appeared in two games for the Sabres, registering no points and six shots on goal.

In seven games this season with the Amerks, Redmond has a goal and four assists, and is second amongst defensemen in scoring behind Brendan Guhle.

To make room for Redmond on the roster, the Sabres have placed Justin Bailey on injured reserve with a lower-body injury. Bailey has been off the ice since last Wednesday, and last played on October 28th against the San Jose Sharks.
