It looks like Buffalo Bills center Russell Bodine’s season is over.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Bodine had surgery Monday on a broken leg suffered in the Bills' 21-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, and the team may be signing former Green Bay Packers center Dillon Day.

Bodine was injured on the Bills’ third play from scrimmage on Sunday and was replaced by Ryan Groy.

Bodine played his first four years in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals, but was signed by the Bills as a free agent this past offseason to a two-year, $5 million contract after losing Eric Wood to retirement. He then won the starting center job over Groy after a lengthy training camp battle.
