The Buffalo Bills already lost one coach this week in, now, former defensive line coach Bill Teerlinck, but it doesn't look like they'll lose their offensive coordinator.

Early on Friday, Ben Volin of the Boston Globe reported that Brian Daboll was among three serious candidates to be the next head coach of the Cleveland Browns. Now that doesn't appear to be the case with New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski being the top-two choices.

Daboll staying in Buffalo for his third season would allow quarterback Josh Allen to have the type of continuity that other quarterbacks from his draft class haven't had. Daboll has received some criticism for the Bills finishing 23rd in the NFL in total offense, but Allen did take steps in his second season.

If McDaniels were to leave New England for Cleveland, that could make it harder for the Patriots to bring back Tom Brady for 2020. McDaniels was scheduled to meet with the Browns on Friday.
