Report: Peterman expected to start against the Colts

Bills rookie quarterback Nathan Peterman will make his second career start

December 10, 2017 - 7:50 am

According to multiple reports, it looks like the Buffalo Bills are going back to Nathan Peterman at quarterback this Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts at New Era Field. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tweets that the Bills rookie is expected to start in place of Tyrod Taylor, who is still dealing with a knee injury suffered last week against the New England Patriots.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora echoed Rapoport's tweet, while adding there's still an outside chance Taylor plays.

The former University of Pittsburgh quarterback was drafted by the Bills in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, and has started in one game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Peterman has played in two other games this season against the New Orleans Saints and the Patriots, throwing for 145 passing yards, one touchdown and five interceptions.
