Kim Pegula will take over permanent roles as president

Russ Brandon has resigned as President of the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and Pegula Sports and Entertainment. Here is an official statement from Terry and Kim Pegula, owners of both clubs:

As the statement says, Kim Pegula will take over as president of the Bills and Sabres, while Terry Pegula will oversee the teams' operations. Tim Graham of the Buffalo News reports that Kim's role will be permanent and that there will be no search for a replacement for President of either team.

Also according to the Buffalo News, Brandon was the subject of an internal investigation regarding inappropriate relationships with female employees and inappropriate conduct in the workplace.

Brandon joined the Bills organization in 1997, and was also the team's general manager in 2009. Brandon was named CEO of the Bills in 2010 and became president of the Sabres in 2015.

Brandon released a statement regarding his resignation, as well.
