Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) - The final piece of the puzzle has been finished by the Sabres. Sam Reinhart has come to terms on a two-year deal with the average being $3.65 million per-season.

Reinhart will receive $3.55 million this season and $3.75 million the year after.

Reinhart was great in the 2018 calendar year, scoring 20 goals and 19 assists for 39 points in 44 games. That works out to 73 points over 82 games. In the 38 games before that, Reinhart had five goals and six assists for 11 points.

In three full seasons in the NHL, Reinhart has scored 23, 17 and 25 goals. He averages 21 goals and 25 assists for 46 points over 82 games in his career.

I would expect Reinhart to be on the ice when training camp resumes on Thursday.
