Sabres announce details of their NHL Draft party

The event will begin at 6 p.m. on June 22 at KeyBank Center

The Buffalo Sabres will be hosting a NHL Draft watch party on the night of the first round of the draft at KeyBank Center.

The event will be held in Alumni Plaza outside of KeyBank Center, where national coverage of the draft can be seen on the large screens.The event kicks off at 6:00 p.m., one hour before coverage of the draft gets started at 7 p.m.

The first 3,000 fans in attendance will be given scratch-off cards with various prizes that can be won, including a jersey of the team's first round pick.  Buffalo Sabres alumni members will also be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures with the fans as well.

Food and drinks will be available from numerous vendors, and DJ Milk will be emceeing throughout the evening.

The NHL Draft party is free to the public, and parking will be available in the KeyBank Center ramp for fans attending the event. If inclement weather becomes an issue, the party will be moved to the arena floor inside KeyBank Center.
