The Buffalo Sabres continued to get deals done with their restricted free agents on Sunday, announcing the re-signing of forward Justin Bailey to a one-year, two-way deal worth an annual average value of $715,000.

Bailey, 23, was a second round pick of the Sabres back in the 2013 NHL Draft. In three seasons in the Sabres organization, Bailey has scored five goals and registered eight points in 52 games at the NHL level with the Sabres. In the American Hockey League with the Rochester Americans, Bailey has scored 53 goals and 96 points in 159 games.

The Buffalo native scored a career-high three goals with the Sabres last season in 12 games, but battled through injuries for most of the year in Buffalo and in Rochester. Bailey did score 10 goals this past season in Rochester in 37 regular season games, while also adding two goals in three playoff games.

The Sabres now have just two restricted free agents left to sign for the 2018-19 season. Sam Reinhart and C.J. Smith are the only two qualified players who are in need of new contracts.
