The Buffalo Sabres have taken their second defenseman of the 2017 NHL Draft, selecting Jacob Bryson with the 99th overall pick in the NHL Draft.

Bryson is an over-ager, 19, who spent last season playing college hockey with the Providence Friars in the Hockey East. He scored three goals and registered 20 points in 39 games played as a freshman.

While Bryson is a smaller blue liner, standing at 5' 9" and 185-pounds, the left-handed defenseman skates very well on the back end and has an underrated shot.

The Sabres will make their final selection in the seventh round with the 192nd overall pick.
