Sergei Bobrovsky made 38 saves to help lead the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 4-0 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday night at KeyBank Center.

A re-direction off the skate of Pierre-Luc Dubois gave Columbus a 1-0 lead over the Sabres midway through the opening period. Seth Jones took the shot that hit the young forward's skate. Jones and Zach Werenski were credited with the assists on the goal.

Later in the period Zemgus Girgensons took a minor penalty that resulted in the second goal of the game for the visitors. With just one-second remaining in the power play, Oliver Bjorkstrand scored his 21st goal of the season making it 2-0 Columbus. Dubois and Nick Foligno assisted on the power play goal that came while Girgensons was about to vacate the box for interference.

With less than three minutes to go in the period, a lucky bounce for Columbus extended the lead to 3-0 over Buffalo. Nick Foligno was credited with his 17th goal of the season as he used a wrap around to hit the puck off of Brandon Montour's skate before going in the net. Ryan Dzingel was given the lone assist on the score.

Josh Anderson scored his 27th goal of the season late in the second period, extending Columbus' lead to 4-0. Dzingel logged his second assist of the game on the goal that came on the 23rd shot of the night by the visitors.

Buffalo recorded 13 shots in the second period, but were unable to score on Bobrovsky. The Blue Jackets goaltender stopped all 25 shots through 40 minutes.

Neither team was able to score in the final period of regulation, despite 25 combined shots on goal. The Sabres were credited with 13, while Columbus had 12 of their own.
