The Buffalo Sabres have brought back a pair of forwards for the 2018-19 season, re-signing Nicholas Baptiste and Danny O'Regan to one-year, two-way contracts.

Baptiste, 22, was a third round pick of the Sabres back in the 2013 NHL Draft. In 47 career games with the Sabres over two seasons, Baptiste has seven goals and 10 points. This past season, he played 33 games while netting four goals and six points.

With the Rochester Americans over the last three seasons, Baptiste has scored a combined 45 goals and 42 assists in 157 games.

Baptiste's average annual value of his contract is set for $787,500.

As for O'Regan, the 24-year-old was acquired by the Sabres as part of the Evander Kane trade with the San Jose Sharks on February 26.

In two games with the Sabres this past season, O'Regan went pointless while being a plus-1. O'Regan did play well with the Amerks in his short time there, scoring six goals and registering 15 points in 18 games played.

The German-born American will have an average annual value of $874,125 with this contract.

O'Regan was a fifth round selection of the San Jose Sharks in the 2012 NHL Draft, and was teammates with Jack Eichel and Evan Rodrigues while playing at Boston University.
