The Buffalo Sabres continue to crank out a myriad of signings as they keep checking names off their list of restricted free agents.

C.J. Smith becomes the latest skater to sign on the dotted line, agreeing on a one-year, two-way contract with the Sabres worth $874,125.

Smith has two career National Hockey League games under his belt, making his debut at the tail-end of the 2016-17 campaign and registering his first career point.

In his first full professional season last year, Smith racked up 44 points in 57 games with the Rochester Americans. His 44 points were good for third-best on the club.

With Smith back in the fold, that leaves just Sam Reinhart as the only restricted free agent to be signed this offseason.
