Sabres take Marcus Davidsson with 37th overall pick

Buffalo goes with another center with their first pick in the second round

The Buffalo Sabres have selected another center with their first pick in the second round.

Marcus Davidsson from Djurgårdens IF in the Swedish Hockey League is Buffalo's pick with the 37th overall selection in the 2017 NHL Draft from Chicago.

The 18-year old is considered a gritty two-way center who brings speed and energy. The 6' 0" and 192-pound center scored five goals and registered nine points in 45 games with Djurgårdens, while averaging 11:12 of ice time last season.

The Sabres will next pick with the 54th overall pick in the second round.
