(WGR 550) - The Sabres will be on the NBC Sports Network five times as part of 109 regular season NHL games that will be broadcasted.

The first three games will be at home, including one against Auston Matthews and Toronto.

The Sabres play the Flyers home-and-home, and also travel to Washington to face Alex Ovechkin and the defending Stanley Cup Champions.

The NHL is trying something different by not going to the teams that get all the ratings. Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers have pretty much never been on, but this season, McDavid will be on the NBC Networks seven times.

Here is the Sabres' NBC Sports Network schedule:

  • Nov. 13 - Tampa Bay @ Buffalo - 7:35
  • Nov. 21 - Philadelphia @ Buffalo - 7:35
  • Dec. 4 - Toronto @ Buffalo - 7:35
  • Dec. 21 - Buffalo @ Washington - 7:05
  • Feb. 26 - Buffalo @ Philadelphia - 7:05
