Tyrod Taylor will start at quarterback for the Buffalo Bills this Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, head coach Sean McDermott told the media Friday morning.

Taylor missed last week’s game against the Indianapolis Colts with a patellar tendon contusion suffered a week earlier.

Rookie Nathan Peterman, who started in Taylor’s place last week, remains in the league’s concussion protocol. McDermott has not ruled out the possibility of Peterman being cleared in time to be Taylor’s backup. But if he’s not, Joe Webb will by the team’s backup quarterback Sunday.
