The AP Preseason All-American Team has been released and it includes the first University at Buffalo player in program history. Wide receiver Anthony Johnson was named to the AP's Preseason All-American Second Team on Tuesday.

For Johnson, this is the latest accolade in an offseason full of hype. Johnson is on the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award (given to the nation's top college receiver) and is seen as a potential first round prospect in the 2019 NFL Draft. Johnson is coming off of a season where he totaled 76 catches for 1,356 yards and a school record 14 touchdowns last year. With highly touted quarterback Tyree Jackson back under center for the Bulls, many expect Johnson to continue to rack up the impressive stat lines.

UB's season starts on September 1 when the Bulls host Delaware State at UB Stadium.
