Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week by the National Football League.

White had an interception and a forced fumble in Buffalo's 31-21 win over the Miami Dolphins this past Sunday. Both second half turnovers lead to points for the Bills, and were the turning point for the Bills in the win.

It is the first time White has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week. He is also the first Bills defensive player to be honored since Matt Milano in Week 3 of the 2018 season, and the first Bills defensive back since Nickell Robey-Coleman in Week 5 of the 2016 season.

White has also been tough to throw against this year with the lowest passer rating allowed among players targeted 20 times or more.

White and the Bills play against the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend at New Era Field.
