The Buffalo Bills are 3-0 to start a season for the first time since 2011.

It was a thrilling finish on Sunday at New Era Field as the Bills, who squandered a 14-0 lead in the second half, rallied from down 17-14 with less than five minutes to play to beat the Cincinnati Bengals, 21-17. Josh Allen and Dawson Knox were the driving force of the offense on the game-winning drive, which was capped off with a one-yard touchdown run by Frank Gore.

The Bills have not started a season at 4-0 since 2008 when Trent Edwards, Marshawn Lynch and Lee Evans helped lead the team to its best start since 1992.

However, the team will face, by far, its toughest challenge yet when they welcome the New England Patriots (3-0) to town for their first of two meetings this season. The Patriots have opened the season with wins over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets, who have all started their seasons at 0-3.

In his Week 3 edition of "Howard Picks the Bills," Howard Simon picked the Bills to go 11-5 this season, which he hadn't done since 2016.

Even with this week's game against the Patriots, who he has always picked to beat the Bills with Tom Brady under center, Howard is liking how the schedule is panning out for the Bills with the other teams' seasons are going down around the NFL.

For the first time in the (known) history of "Howard Picks the Bills," Howard has eclipsed the 12-win mark for the Bills with his picks:
