The Buffalo Bills got back on the winning track this past Sunday with a 14-7 win over the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

It was a defensive battle throughout most of this contest with the Bills limiting the Titans to just 252 total yards of offense, while sacking quarterback Marcus Mariota a total of five times, three of which coming from defensive tackle Jordan Phillips.

As for the offense, Josh Allen had a strong bounce-back game for the Bills after struggling the week before against the New England Patriots before getting knocked out of the contest with a concussion in the fourth quarter. Despite throwing an interception that cost the Bills points, Allen finished the day going 23-of-32 passing for 219 yards and two touchdowns.

The final touchdown of the day came when Allen found rookie wide receiver Duke Williams for a seven-yard touchdown over the middle at the 9:46 mark of the fourth quarter. It was Williams' first career touchdown reception in his first career NFL game after being activated from the practice squad earlier in the week.

As the Bills get set to head into the bye week, the team sits in an ideal spot in the standings at 4-1 and atop the AFC Wild Card standings.

Howard Simon liked what he saw from the Bills this past week, and took that into account in his latest edition of "Howard Picks the Bills."

Even after the Week 4 loss to the Patriots at home, Howard still had the Bills going 12-4 for the season with a win over the Titans. After the big win over Tennessee, Howard has upped his win total to a new all-time high mark by picking the Bills to go 13-3 in this week's picks.
